Does Line Check call or text the customer?
No. It only looks up the number's line details. The customer never sees or hears anything.
How sure is the texting answer?
It is based on the line type from a carrier lookup. Mobile is a clear yes and landline a clear no; VoIP and toll-free come with a note because it depends on how the line is set up.
The lead gave me a VoIP number. Should I still text?
Usually yes. Internet numbers often take texts, but they can arrive late or get filtered, so a quick call is a good backup for an urgent job.
Does it work for numbers outside the US?
Yes. Enter the number with a plus sign and the country code. A plain 10-digit number is read as a US number.
How many numbers can I check?
